At Bricks and Blocks Library we would like to offer you the highest quality product and service, so we need your help to do this.
​When you borrow any of our Bricks and Blocks Library sets, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following terms & conditions:

Borrowing Agreement
Care and respect
I agree to be respectful and careful when sorting, assembling and disassembling borrowed sets. I intend to return the sets in the same condition as I receive them.
Lost pieces
I understand that I may be charged a fee for loss or damage of any pieces in a borrowed set. Bricks and Blocks Library will attempt to replace the piece from our 'spares' first and if not possible will charge in accordance with our Terms and Conditions below.
Pre-loved Bricks
​I understand that I am borrowing pre-love bricks. This means that some pieces may be minimally marked, scratched or discoloured. Some parts may be pre-assembled on arrival (minifigures, windows, wheels etc), and stickers may already be applied. Pieces will NOT be sorted into numbered bags unless otherwise stated in the set description, and instruction books will be supplied in digital format only (unless otherwise requested and agreed).
Care
You’re going to have so much fun building, playing and displaying your set. When you’ve finished, you’ll be excited for your next set, and we want to get you borrowing again as soon as possible! But remember, there’s someone just as excited as you, waiting to share the set you’ve just borrowed. So please care for it as if it was your own.
​When you borrow from Bricks and Blocks Library, you agree:
· ​To dismantle the set/s into individual pieces when you are ready to return them, unless otherwise agreed including an additional fee.
· To prevent the mixing together of sets (when multiple sets have been borrowed at the same time) and understand there may be additional fee to sort sets back out.
· To notify Bricks and Blocks Library of any pieces that were damaged or lost during the time you were borrowing the set/s, and understand that you may be charged a fee for replacement pieces.
· To contact Bricks and Blocks Library as soon as possible if you do notice any pieces missing from the set/s during your build. We want to ensure you have everything you need to have a fun and carefree building experience, so we will endeavour to send the missing pieces to you (if requested) to complete your build.
· To return any extra pieces included with your borrowed set. Some of the sets in our library will be brand new and only opened to check for completeness, before being sent directly to you. New sets always contain a few additional “spare” pieces, which can be helpful to complete a build if a few small pieces are lost. Please ensure that all extra pieces are included with your set/s when you return.
· To post the set/s back to us in the same condition you received them​.
Returns Process
Your Bricks and Blocks Library Parcel will contain a flyer which explains how to return your set, so that the next borrower can enjoy it as much as you have! Following these instructions will speed up our checking process and reduce the turnaround time for you to be approved to borrow your next set - we don’t want to keep you waiting!

​Here’s the return process:
1. ​Collect any Minifigures from your borrowed set and place them back into the bag that they arrived in. You do not need to break them down first.
2. Please dismantle the rest of your set into individual pieces. We encourage you to use the brick separator included with the set to help with any stubborn or tricky pieces.
Please note that if your sets are returned to Bricks and Blocks Library in ’chunks’, this may result in an additional fee being charged as it slows down the checking and cleaning process significantly.
3. Place the pieces (and the Minifigures bag) back into the bags the set came in. It doesn’t matter which bag as they will be resorted after being cleaned. Ensure that multiple sets are not mixed together.
4. To help with sustainability, we'd love you to reuse the box that your order arrived in. By recycling the packaging, we can all do our bit to help the environment. Pack your set/s into the box, and ensure it is securely closed.
5. If you are returning your set/s by mail, attach the pre-paid return postage label (included in the original Bricks and Blocks Library Parcel) to your parcel. Please make sure that you either remove the original delivery label, or simply cover it with the new one.
6. Post the parcel at any Australia Post RED Street Posting Box, Parcel Locker or simply drop it off at a Post Office if the parcel is too large. Once we’ve received your return, we'll check it and let you know as soon as you can start borrowing again!

Local Drop Off or Local Delivery:
If you selected 'Local Pickup & Returns' or 'Local Delivery' for your order, please email us to confirm a time slot to drop off or for us to pick up from you.
Before dropping off your parcel or putting it out for collection, please ensure that it is clearly marked with your name, or that the original label is still visible, so that we can easily identify it.
Shipping
Shipping is charged separately at checkout and includes the cost of returning your parcel.

In order to keep our fees as low as possible, we charge minimal shipping fees each time you borrow from our library based on the weight of the sets you order.
We do not charge the full rate for shipping as we appreciate our customers and would like you to borrow with us again.

Missing Pieces Policy
We work hard to ensure that everyone can have the best Bricks and Blocks Library experience. To make this happen, we carefully check every returned set for completeness, and promptly replace any missing or damaged pieces.
If there are any pieces missing from your returned set, you will be charged at the cost price for the replacement pieces. To purchase replacement pieces, we use the website www.bricklink.com, and this will necessitate an additional administration fee of $10. We reserve the right to charge you at the monthly set rate for the time it takes to replace the piece/s. We always endeavour to keep this time to a minimum and will use pieces from our collection where possible.

Any sets returned with more than 10% of pieces missing or damaged will incur a fee to replace the entire set, which will be equal to the full and total recommended value of the set as per bricklink and BrickEconomy.
Until any outstanding balance has been settled, you will not be able to borrow any more sets.
Hygiene
At Bricks and Blocks library hygiene is a priority.

After every borrow, we check, clean and sanitise each set thoroughly. After which each set is air dried, once fully dry each set is carefully packed away in air tight storage ready for the new person to enjoy.

All sets in the Bricks and Blocks Library meet Australian safety standards.
'Premium Sets' Introductory Period
If you’re new to Bricks and Blocks Library, you’ll need to complete a two order introductory period, in order to borrow the high-value ‘Premium Sets’ at our discounted rate of 75% off. If your first two orders have been returned to us in good condition, then from your third order you will be able to borrow any sets from our Library including one ‘Premium’ set at a discounted rate of 75% off per order.

Our ‘Premium sets’ include those with more than 1000 pieces, are ‘rare’ sets or contain high valued mini figures.
​By completing this introductory period, we’ll know that we can trust you to take good care of the most valuable sets we have. Sadly, we need to do this to combat the theft of high-value sets.
Order Limits
For your first two orders you are restricted to 3 of our standard sets/bundles.
From your 3rd order you can order a total of 3 sets/bundles including one ‘Premium set’.
Please note if you order a premium set in your first two orders, we will contact you to amend your order or issue a refund if preferred.
If you need longer than a month to complete your set/s – no problem! Reach out to us and we can renew your order, if there is no one on the waitlist. You will be issued a new invoice to be paid before keeping your sets for the next month.

Refund Policy
There will be no refunds once the order is dispatched. If you need to change your order please contact us as soon as possible. No part refunds will be issued if a set is returned before the due date but you will be able to order your next set sooner.
Accurate Address
When you complete your purchase and fill in your address, please double check that it’s correct. If a set is lost or damaged in transit, due to an address error created at checkout, charges will be applied. These charges will be the full and total recommended value of the set/s issued and dispatched to you. This will be calculated based on Bricklink averages and BrickEconomy values. An additional fee may be charged for administration costs and lost sales.
Safety & Liability
Bricks and minifigures are small and can become a choking hazard. We suggest that all sets are kept away from pets and small children, especially under 4 years of age.

By ordering from Bricks and Blocks Library, you agree that we are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any products that we supply during the rental period.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We will never share your personal information, credit card details or data. ​When you order from Bricks and Blocks Library, your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Price & Term Changes
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue a particular set or service (or any part or content thereof) without notice. We reserve the right to change the pricing of any set without notice for new orders. We reserve the right to make other terms changes as required. These changes will be noted clearly, here in our Terms and Conditions.
Authenticity
You’ll always get the real deal from us. The only sets you’ll receive in your Bricks and Blocks Library order are genuine LEGO® or MEGA BLOKS products.
